Sol de Reymos has received many awards. In 2016, in Champion wines España competition Sol de Reymos was the winner. It was declared "The best sweet wine of Spain".
In Guía Peñín 2016 it obtained 90 points.
Mistela is a natural sweet wine made with overripe Muscatel grapes. The main difference between Sol de Reymos and other mistelles lies in the partial fermentation of the Muscatel must and its subsequent chemical sterilisation using wine alcohol. This gives Sol de Reymos a superb aromatic complexity by combining primary aromas (typical of Muscatel variety) with secondary aromas obtained during the partial fermentation process.
